Taking advantage of the latest generation Bosch DICENTIS discussion equipment based on the Dante networked digital audio standard, two simultaneous interpreting systems were installed in the auditorium and in the interpreting laboratory, located in buildings on the university campus.
These systems can function as independent systems or connected via the campus network. In the latter case, lab students can practise simultaneous interpreting exercises by taking advantage of actual conferences held in the auditorium. These exercises are carried out securely to ensure that the students cannot accidentally interfere with the professional interpreting at the event.
