PROJET: | LABORATORIE DE LANGUES OPTIMAS SCHOOL |
The version chosen by the United Nations was the Optimas Premium model for 20 students and the teaching post.
Initially, the laboratory will be used for language teaching for up to eight different groups: three Spanish language groups, three English language groups and two French language groups.
It should be noted that the classroom can also be used as a multimedia classroom so that other subjects can be taught in addition to language learning, with audio and video teaching resources shared between teachers and students.
The project was a turnkey project, carried out by the Soroll technical team of 2 people, with the supervision of the UNOPS IT team and an external company that carried out the quality control audit.
These were the main milestones carried out between 6 and 9 February in accordance with the planned schedule.
– Installation and connection of the electrical and computer networks for the 21 workstations.
– Installation of the 20 “all in one” computers for the students and the teacher’s computer with 2 monitors.
– Installation of the Optimas hardware equipment in the workstations and activation of the software licences.
– Updating of the installed Windows version
On Friday 10th, the first part of the day was dedicated to the pedagogical training of the teaching staff, followed by a training session for the IT staff, where the lab was integrated with the projector and the interactive whiteboard in the classroom.
A great installation that will be of great use.
