Project details
A security system was positioned and installed along the former Turia riverbed in the city of Valencia.
The system consists of CCTV and SOS posts to report criminal acts directly to the Local Police of Valencia.
At the moment, there are twenty-seven CCTV cameras to increase security along the former riverbed. The system controls the entrance and exit points of the riverbed through fixed cameras and remote-controlled dome cameras. The cameras installed are include IP technology.
What’s more, they will be able to capture images 24/7/365 without recording voice or environment, while masking nearby homes to protect their privacy. The images are then stored according to national regulations.
The SOS communication points do not have video recording and are simply for contacting the Local Police of Valencia, which controls the entire system from its headquarters on Avenida del Cid.
