Project details
Soroll supplied and installed a system for the teaching of simultaneous interpreting at the Laboratories Building III of Rey Juan Carlos University in Móstoles. The facilities, consisting of a cutting-edge Bosch DICENTIS simultaneous interpreting and conference system, will be used by students of the Faculty of Legal and Social Sciences who are enrolled on the Bachelor’s Degree in Translation and Interpreting.
The whole system features eleven double booths for students / interpreters (one of them with access for people with reduced mobility), sixteen desks for listeners / discussion students, a central lecturer’s desk and two for speakers, a large-format screen, classroom furniture and all the necessary equipment.
This new lab, along with the one installed on the Aranjuez Campus in 2017, means that students on the Bachelor’s Degree in Translation and Interpreting have access to some outstanding equipment for their practice sessions.
