Project details
In 2017, Soroll and Roycan Audiosistemas supplied and installed a professional simultaneous interpreting system in the auditorium (Building D) of the Faculty of Languages at the Complutense University of Madrid.
The project consists of a Bosch DICENTIS Conference and Simultaneous Interpreting System with two fully equipped interpreting booths, a moderator’s desk, delegate-speaker desks, an infrared system with wireless receivers for listeners, and audiovisual equipment with an IP camera. Two interpreter booths were built, respecting as far as possible the design and materials of the existing control booth.
With this new equipment, the Faculty of Languages has an auditorium fully set up for students on the Bachelor’s Degree in Translation and Interpreting to take part in practice sessions. What’s more, the auditorium can now be used for all kinds of international events such as congresses, conferences, seminars, etc.
